“I am safe and free” Father Mbaka assures his followers that he is not missing as rumoured
Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka of the adoration Ministry Enugu has assured his followers that he is safe and free against rumours of his missing.
In a telephone conversation made by a close associate of the catholic priest, Father Mbaka said briefly that he is fine and that there is no need to worry about him as nothing happened to him.
The close associate who spoke with 9News Nigeria in anonymity said that Father Mbaka told him that he will call him back and speak about the “missing” rumour.
As at the time of this report, 9News Nigeria Enugu correspondent has not heard back from the clergy’s close associate in order to ascertain further clarity on the rumoured missing and why he has not been in the public view for some time prior to the “missing” rumour.
“Father Mbaka is back, He said he will get back to me in the evening,” the close associate confirmed to 9News Nigeria in a conversation.
Some of the followers and members of the Adoration Ministry were said to have been protesting after the news came out that the controversial catholic priest was missing.
In another vein, some members of Ohanaeze Youth Council had made a press statement threatening to embark on a protest in order to find out the whereabouts of the catholic priest.
